There’s no other way to put it, Rick Warren is on a dangerous path away from sound biblical doctrine toward an ecumenical apostate form of Christianity with Rome that has the potential to lead many astray. The facts stare us in the face. Warren’s pathway to Rome is dangerous!
Why do so few recognize what is happening? Do you know someone who is caught up in the deception but does not see what is going on? Maybe this would be a good time to pray God’s grace would open their eyes, and they would see the truth of God’s word.
Over the last few years, I have been astonished and appalled to learn of the wholesale ignorance and lack of spiritual discernment demonstrated by a number of eminent leaders (many of whom self-identify as apostles) of the Pentecostal/Neo-Pentecostal church stream I have attempted to converse with regarding Rick Warren and others of his ilk who have emerged over the last three decades or so as the prominent proponents and propagators of the apostate teachings associated with the nascent so-called “Emerging or Emergent Church.” The lack of awareness and understanding of those who are touted as the “chiefs of the chiefs” of the most elite and exalted ranks of “apostolic leaders” I’ve attempted to dialogue with regarding this alarmingly fast and facile advance toward apocalyptic apostasy has been nothing short of stunning to me.

In vocational ministry, however, there are divine limitations to our fruitfulness. Those limitations are often intuitively understood, but not as often well defined. We may subconsciously realize that the large majority of God-called ministers will never have the impact of the Apostle Paul, yet we sometimes talk as if all ministers could attain to Paul’s level of spiritual success, if only “we were as dedicated as the apostle Paul.”

Modern day Sadducees not only, “make utterly nothing of prophecy,” they also deny the reality of the baptism of the Holy Spirit. This doctrine has produced spiritual morticians which have so effectively turned their churches into funeral parlors that even God is not welcome in them if He disturbs the dead. Even the thought of the disruption produced by the “rushing mighty wind” of the Holy Spirit’s presence alarms them.

Editor’s Note: It has been astounding to me over the past two decades or so to see that virtually none of those who identify as “leaders” within the Charismatic realm, including the elite, eminent super-apostles of the International Coalition of Apostolic Leaders (ICAL), and the like, have spoken out to warn the Pentecostal-Charismatic stream concerning the panoply of deceptions that have been promulgated by the so-called “emerging” or “emergent” church during that time; and, they are many. Frankly, I have been waiting and watching, hoping that someone with a national voice would step forward with such some prophetic warnings against these dastardly but insidious “doctrines of demons” (1 Tim. 4:1). However, the silence has been ear-piercing as well as dumbfounding, to say the least!

The undeniable and irrefutable bottom-line of the collection of Scriptures that follow is that while God is the God of Agape-Love, and actually the author/originator of same, that same God is also a God who HATES, that is holds utter contempt for those who hate and oppose Him, His Word, Will, and Ways. To say otherwise is to call God a liar and His Holy Word a lie!

Sadly, so many believers today hold the view that because they identify as Christians they are and will be subject to virtually or literally no kind of judgment whatsover. It has been disturbing and disappointing to me to learn over time that many in the Pentecostal and Charismatic streams have adopted this mindset as well. They have been indoctrinated with these utterly false, unscriptural, and demonically-inspired notions. In the case of some of these purporting believers, these “doctrines of demons” that are invented and promulgated by “deceiving spirits,” as Scripture foretells, have been seared into their conscience as with a branding iron (1 Tim. 4:1-2), meaning that without miraculous intervention from God (i.e., deliverance), these victims of deception will ultimately, upon their physical death, receive “the shock of their lives” as they are instantaneously confronted with “the One who has been appointed by God as the judge of the living and the dead,” (Acts 10:42), namely the Lord Jesus Christ!

According to Bible prophecy, a one-world religion that will offer the promise of peace throughout the world is going to commence prior to Christ’s return. To most, this global body will seem like a wonderful thing and very possibly will be a pseudo-Christianity (coming in the name of “Christ”); however, contrary to how the masses will view it, it will actually help establish and set up the antichrist and his one- world government.
In order for this to happen, all religions must come together in an ecumenical plan. Today, as part of this Satanic scheme, the evangelical/Protestant church is being drawn seductively into the Roman Catholic church, largely through what we call “The Jesuit Agenda.” Incredibly, while the evidence is obvious to some, the majority of proclaiming Christians are not at all aware it is happening.

…it’s hard for me to fathom the evangelical church buying into the religious occultism of Roman Catholicism. It makes no sense. Visit any country where that religion is taken seriously. What becomes obvious is a people who are in the bondage of superstition. On the other hand, I shouldn’t be surprised. Apostasy is growing rapidly, the religion of the Antichrist is taking shape, and mysticism, whether it’s the Catholic variety, the Sufism of Islam, yoga and the gurus of Eastern mysticism, the Shamanism of native religions, or otherwise, is a common yet powerful magnet that draws all religions together. We need to be watchmen on the wall as we see this evil invading the church, warning especially — should our Lord delay His return — our next generation of believers. They are the clear targets of this mystical seduction.
